Where the Horizon Ends.

In this series, “Where the Horizon Ends,” the author delves into the mystical boundary between sea and land, inspiring a personal visual language and developing his own poetry and esthetics.

At the Belgian Coast there are 206 streets that end at the sea wall. Every time, the author sought an engaging dialogue between the same four elements: the dead end street; the horizon; the adjacent houses and the heavens above. Each image is titled with the name of the municipality, street, date, and time, transforming the entire work into a temporal record of Belgium’s coastline.

The underlying portfolio represents 53 images as a sample of the project.
